This is the successor model to the UN-4721 Professional Air Release 5.5m. The plunger is actuated by powerful compressed air to release the shutter. The plunger is operated by the force of the user’s grip, so that the user’s reflexes will not allow him or her to miss a momentary shutter opportunity. Since the compressed air is sent to the plunger through a flexible tube, the shock of the operation is less likely to be transmitted to the camera compared to a standard metal release, making it ideal for photography with a lot of slow shutter speeds. It can be used as a 5.5 meter remote control by connecting the supplied 5 meter extension tube.
